Hopkins 16721 SubZero 10" Bear Claw Ice Scraper

  • Wide 4" frost clearing blade
  • Flat, compact design for easy storage
  • Durable construction for long lasting performance
  • Ice chippers score thick ice for quick removal
  • 10" length provides good reach

I have used these for many years. I have experimented with other brands, some much fancier, but I still think these are the best. The frost scraper is the best I have found. More surprising, the ice cutter when inverted is more effective than others which looked more aggressive. It may not be very flashy, but it works better than any other I have tried.

Living in Texas you would think I would never need one of these. But the ONE day a year I need it, I really need it. We get crazy ice here from time to time. Don't be the idiot that tosses a bucket of hot water on your windshield, scratches your windows with a butter knife, or ruins plastic items trying to chip ice off your windows. Save $$$ in gas instead of idling for 30 minutes trying to warm you car up enough to melt the crap off. Buy yourself this decent and sturdy scraper, and be ready for Mother Nature this winter.

I've had one of these before and lost it so bought one for each of our rigs. These are excellent scrapers; they have a short handle that fits under the seat well but not so short you end up with ice all over your wrist if you use it right, the handle is sturdy so it doesn't bend or wobble. A good buy and a good product.

This works great! I've used it a few times now to scrape ice off of my windshield and as long as you press down hard, it does an even scrape across the windshield.

I like the old style of window scrapers. Thick blades with a little bow in them. These were exactly like my old scraper that I gave my son. Highly recommended if you don't like the new style scrapers. Good Price too. I may get another set to keep for unexpected breakage.

This is an inexpensive ice scraper and it works well. I've tried others with a longer handle but have trouble getting enough force on the scraper to get under the ice. We don't get a lot of snow or ice here so it only gets minimal use, maybe 20 times a year and it is typically light snow, but I've had a few of these through my life and have found them to be durable enough to last for years. I am only purchasing this one because I lost my last one. I find this to be the best solution for my needs that I have tried.

on a whim I bought these right before we were hit by a snow storm in Las Vegas LOL perfect thank you

it scrapes ice! It costs less than the hot coffee that wouldn't melt the ice on your windshield anyway, and this way you get to keep the coffee to hold in your hands and warm up your fingers after scraping the windshield!

My cat peed in en empty box and we didn’t know and we moved it and part of the box we couldn’t get off the floor. I didn’t wanna use a paint scraper and scratch the tile floor so I got this. Wet the box spot with stiffer wet jet cleaner and waited a min or two and started scraping with this and it worked and didn’t scrape the floor up.

Quality as expected and so glad I didn’t have to drive so far to get them. Ordering on line for basic supplies really helps me out. Not cheap looking. And gets the job done
