Best way to get to class
I first purchased this scooter two years ago, right before Christmas of my freshman year of college. A junior now, I recently purchased another scooter after losing my first scooter on campus. If I hadn't lost the scooter, I would've still been using the same scooter for over two years, and even with all the stress I put on it (I'm not the most careful with my things), it was still working just fine, which speaks to the durability of this product. I will say that this is hands down the best purchase I have made in college. The amount of time that this thing has saved me is tremendous. If I'm running late for class or a meeting, I grab this thing and I'm there in a few minutes. Not only is it a huge timesaver, but it's so much fun too. Sometimes I take this to class even when I'm not running late just so I can experience the thrill of going downhill from my classrooms. I don't have very good balance, so this scooter is perfect for me, as it has a break on the back which makes me feel much safer. I wanted to learn to use a skateboard but my balance just wasn't letting me do it. A lot of the college athletes on my campus use the larger A5, but I think the A3 is the perfect size for me (I'm 5' 5 and 123 pounds). If you're worried about this not being able to hold your weight, it can definitely hold much heavier than it says it can. I've had friends from the football team who are 200 pounds on this without a problem. I'd say if you're above 5' 8 to go for a larger A5, but if you're anywhere below that, the A3 will be perfect. I highly recommend this scooter to every college kid looking to save time or just have fun while zooming to class. There may be some haters but who cares??? They're just jealous.

which have been great until we discovered this one
We didn't even know there were different scooters out there. We have always bought the regular A1 scooters, which have been great until we discovered this one. We came across the A3 scooter and decided to read all of the reviews and then spend the extra money. The bigger wheels make all the difference, rides so much smoother. We ended up replacing all of our scooters with the A3.

Worth every penny
Was able to get this at the right time on Amazon for about $40. First scooter for our 5 year old, it's been a great purchase. These Razor scooters are built incredibly well. I'm 215 pounds and ride it no problem. I realize that's not probably the best idea but who cares it's fun

My 6 y/o LOVES this thing!
Our son has autism and has struggled to learn to ride a bike without training wheels, but he loves this scooter and is very good at it! It has helped him learn balance and steering and has given him confidence to learn other things as well. It's very well made and very sturdy. I bought this one because we have a big patio area in our back yard but it has a lot of seams in the concrete that I think the version with the smaller wheels would struggle going over smoothly. It's a much safer ride this way and is a smoother ride too. I bought one that came with damaged packaging but the scooter itself was brand new. Glad I opted for that and saved some $! I can definitely recommend this scooter for any kid (or even adult)! Worth the price and then some. Built to last!

Stood the test of time
I particularly liked the larger wheels on this one since I rode it to and from class on my campus where there were a lot of bricks and inconsitencies in the sidewalks (helped to smooth out the ride). Over a few years the connection between the vertical post and the foot plate has gotten more loose, but I also abused this thing into the ground (there's rubber from my shoe soles melted to the brake pad from all the times I took it down hills at full speed) and it still works great after 5 years. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a kick scooter!

Get the larger wheel like this one, you won't regret it, faster and can handle differences in terrain better.
Definitely go with the ones with the bigger wheels like this one. My 4 year old loves it and abuses it like crazy. Because it has the larger wheels, it can easily go over rough pavement, pebbles on sidewalk and especially the lip of the ramp on a sidewalk (the transition from ramp to street). Can't recommend enough getting larger wheels. The wheelie bar works by have the rear foot on it and you lean back, son is too scared to do it. The brakes are you standard brakes on a Razor, metal piece pushing on rear wheel causing friction.

For the price you cant pass it up!!
I bought one each for my girls and they love them. I was very concerned that my 11 year old would be too big for it. She is approx 4'9 and 110 pounds- so I didn't know it was gonna be too small for her, but it's still great for her. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a scooter but still wanted to get something of decent quality. After seeing how thrashed the cheapie little ninja turtle and princess ones from Target got messed up I knew I needed to get something a little more sturdy. Glad I went with these. They are heavy but not too heavy. They fold down easy to slide under their bunk bed. We can fold them up to take them to grandma's house or the park and the girls zoom around everywhere on them. For the price you really can't beat it.

My 11-year-old son loves this scooter. He never wants to walk anymore, just ride this. We've had it a couple of months without problems. It is tricky at first to learn how to fold it, but I watched a you-tube video and all's good. It's definitely better than the smaller razor with smaller wheels, but that's supposed to be for smaller kids. He's about 90 pounds and 5 feet tall.

In college and love it!
Got this for my sibling who is 23 as a Christmas gift. Anyone can use this product - not just young kids. She lives off campus and wanted a faster way to get there, but did not want to deal with having to carry a bike up and down her apartment stairs. It is very compact and easy to carry. Lol she folds it up and bring it into class with her, she even started scootering from class to class in order to beat the student that keeps taking her seat. Anyway - excellent product and can make anyone of any age happy

These scooters are made well and hold up to daily use
I bought this A3 to replace my son's last A3, after he left it behind my car and I ran it over. Even after that happened, we sort of bent it back and he rode it for another month. My other son has been riding his for years without breaking anything on his. These things take quite a beating! They've had their A3 scooters for a few years and have been riding them almost every single day. The wheels are big enough that it cushions the bumps better than the cheaper models, but not as big as the Lux that my husband has, that goes waaaay too fast for a little kid. My youngest son (the one I am buying this replacement scooter for) is about to turn 12, and I can see him getting plenty of years out of this scooter. When he manages to destroy this one or I run it over, I will probably replace it again with an A3. They're fantastic.
