Go to med school this year. You can always transfer but cant get back one year that you "wasted". Furzt year is the same everywhere, just studying all day.

What's the difference between one and the other? personally I think how much you get out of it is more about the student than it is about what the school has to offer. Both seem like a good option; A you get started right away, maybe you can transfer later, but sometimes life takes turns.. B like others said take some time to work and party, do something cool because you wont be able to once you start school and for the next 10 years probably. I'm finish my 4th year next semester, best time of my life, I've had to drop a semester and will have to drop another one before I finish, to work and keep going but I'm almost there. I'm glad you're taking this path OP.

Dream med school next year (but ONLY AND ONLY IF you are ABSOLUTELY SURE TO GO). It will allow you, for instance, to work for a year and have some money aside to not have to worry too much about student debt/Eating/renting next year. Furthermore, in your spare time you could also look for hospitals if you have to do an internship. Looking for one before will also bring down your stress level. And if it's a real good school you'll find pretty easily.

Hate to act like an old chap but trust me, even though you might think you are wasting a year it's nothing compared to the benefits you may get from it (better sensation of fulfillment, better job, etc). Sorry for poor English btw.
